Re: Pac 12

good news to Tennisace;

LOEB/MANASSE def. HIBI/STARR in 2.

Maegan really played well, especially her defense was really good. Mad Cow act, as usual

Don't compare Pam to Natalie, at least Pam never lost to KK.. (no offense to Natalie, of course)

And did you guys all forget that classic match between Pam and Kay at Team Indoors Final?

I guess Pam was rested. This looks more like the singles lineup I like. Just switch Dolehide and Ray and insert Pam in at 4.

ASU fielded 3 doubles team. Could the 6th player (Nicole Smith) not play singles?

Re: Pac 12

Nicole Smith has been injury plagued since she got to ASU. She has teared her ACL a number of times, so she only plays doubles. Stephanie Vlad is having issues with her knee since about a week ago and "Desirae Krawczyk a late scratch due to right leg soreness"

This year had been blessed with not having injuries, but they struck at the worse possible time!

True, but the box score doesn't tell you that that TnT were down something like 2-7 in that set. And not that I think it was gamesmanship, but Oregon took a bathroom break when Stanford came back to 6-7. Who takes a bathroom break in a Pro Set? hahah.

It was also Senior Day at the Farm and the team honored Stacey Tan and Natalie Dillon. Coach Lele also acknowledged recently departed Mallory Burdette and her contributions to the team too.

On totally not Pac-12 related news, I'm going to college at Cal in the fall!

Re: Pac 12

from Zootennis;

'Hibi lives in Irvine, California and takes private lessons from Debbie Graham, the former NCAA champion from Stanford'

Very bad news for other PAC 12 rivals. Can't USC get Christina Makarova if Mayo chooses Stanford?

Nice photos!

It's a big accomplishment for Dillon considering she was a walk-on and didn't get a scholarship until her 2nd or 3rd year.

I think Stanford already has a strong recruiting class in 2013 with Doyle, Davidson, and Zhou (replacing Tan, Dillon, and most likely Gibbsy)
Mayo would be a nice addition for 2014 (replacing Ahn).

I think that keeps them competitive, but not ahead of the pack.

Keeps them competitive?? You're too modest!

Hibi just won ISC, beating a very strong Jamie Loeb, who goes to UNC next season with Hayley Carter.
Do you know that Hibi was the most difficult opponent the winners last year, Kiick,Townsend and Duval had to play against?

AND with Doyle, Davidson and Zhao...that's QUITE formidable, imo, if Hibi goes to STAN..

Let me explain to you this way;
Peggy Porter, future Gator, lost to Kimberly Yee 1,2 or something. That Yee lost to Jamie in 2, and THAT Jamie, was beaten 2,1 by Mayo, Mayo is THAT good.
