Re: 2012 Team Indoors

Should we post here or should we just continue to post at

'2012 Kick Off Weekend' thread?

Anyway I'm revising the above prediction; USC can actually WIN this

yup, competition will be fierce, since it will probably be the last time a non Stanford team will win a team event for a LONG time

Re: 2012 Team Indoors

Well, it's hard to tell much from one match, but I was impressed with how Duke played against Northwestern, especially considering NU beat UNC the day before. Duke probably would have swept NU if they didn't have to leave to catch their plane home (I assume that's why they stopped...) Capra and Mar winning so easily at 1 and 2 bodes really well for the season. This tournament will tell me a lot.

My picks:

Round of 16
(1) Duke def. Ole Miss
Clemson def. (8) Michigan
(4) Georgia def. Texas
(5) California def. Miami

USC def. (6) North Carolina
(3) Baylor def. Tennessee
(7) Virginia def. Northwestern
Georgia Tech def. (2) UCLA

Quarterfinals
(1) Duke def. Clemson
(4) Georgia def. (5) California

USC def. (3) Baylor
(7) Virginia def. Georgia Tech

Semifinals
(4) Georgia def. (1) Duke
USC def. (7) Virginia

Finals
(4) Georgia def. USC

But I wouldn't be shocked by much of anything here, well unless Miami or Ole Miss won

so, MICH def. YALE 4-3 at their HOME.

Is Yale strong or Mich not so good? Did anyone watch via webcam? I only managed to watch a bit so can't really comment...
