Who will host the Regional Tournaments?

Correct my mistakes, but the top 16 teams are given the first shot to hold the regional tournaments. But, sometimes for some odd reason, one of the top 16 teams doesn't.

Still, we can't just use the current list of the top 16 teams, because some wins haven't been included, some teams still have the Conference tournament to play, and the ITA will "spin" the computer a few more times, which will re-evaluate the point's given for previous wins.

Still we can say, the top so many teams are safe. That FSU, helped itself out by its recent play. And that being at #15 & #16, Georgia Tech and USC, are in most danger of being replaced as a tournament host. Clemson and Tennessee are bunched with nearly the same number of points as USC. Both Georgia Tech and USC have finished their season.

Here is last weeks list.

Rank Avg School
1 86.51 Stanford
2 83.62 University of Florida
3 73.49 Duke University
4 66.47 UCLA
5 63.95 North Carolina
6 62.79 University of Miami (Florida)
7 62.32 Baylor University

13 44.36 Clemson University
14 44.30 University of Tennessee
15 44.05 University of Southern California
16 43.10 Georgia Tech

------------------

17 41.86 Northwestern University
18 40.37 Florida State University will rise.
19 39.69 Vanderbilt University
20 37.15 University of Oklahoma
21 36.97 University of Arkansas
22 35.75 University of Tulsa
23 35.50 University of Alabama

Re: Who will host the Regional Tournaments?

In another thread, Form noted.

"And interestingly USC no longer a host and Arizona now a # 3 seed. That would make six west coast three seeds and four west coast hosts (Stanford, UCLA, Cal and ASU) which means two western 3 seeds would get to fly east this year..."

Re: Who will host the Regional Tournaments?

Does this mean something, or not? On the NCAA Championship Ranking page, they have an option like a dropdown box for alternate ranking algorithms. But then there is only the ITA ranking as a choice.
