Well, UF recruits Collins and Keegan did very well at the Clay National which was just finished. Collins won the even defeating Andrews and Loeb, and Keegan advanced to Quartefinal, beating Porter in 2(bagel in the 1st). Won the Consolation too, beating Chirico and Stewart.
Collins & Keegan definitely will boost the gator lineup come next Fall... I am still shocked at learning WILL turning pro... REALLY? She couldn't wait one more year? Might as well...

Not everything - the NCAA team Finals she is 0 for 3 (not that the last two mattered, but first one she should have won). And of course the all important NCAA Singles that she didn't get into finals for.

Bless her heart, at this rate, M Burdette & Gibbs might as well turn pro too.

Yeah she's 0 for 3 but she did contribute by playing (so that others could win on other positions, such as Embree at #2)

Mal never won sgls slam and Gibbs hasn't won a Team championship. And I heard Gibbsy will stay all 4 yrs.

Jerjomina had arm surgery (arm, I believe) and it's a real slow process and I'm sure she's redshirting as on her profile it says "student coach for 2012-2013," and not "her first season as student coach." Hope she comes back better than before. She was a great player pre-college, but hasn't gotten a lot of playing time. She's a sweet girl and is loving UGA life.

Re: SEC Women Tennis 2011

Florida updated it's roster.

Didn't know they signed Brianna Morgan for this season, but I guess it is not really that surprising considering she is from Beverly Hills

Danielle Collins 5' 9" FR HS R St. Petersburg, Fla. / Home Schooled/A Beka Academy
Lauren Embree 5' 6" SR 3L R Marco Island, Fla. / Lely HS
Caroline Hitimana 5' 7" SR 3L R Waterloo, Belgium / Cardinal Mercier
Olivia Janowicz 5' 4" JR 2L R Palm Bay, Fla. / American School
Brianna Morgan 5' 8" FR HS R Beverly Hills, Calif. / Beverly Hills HS
Sofie Oyen 5' 3" JR 2L R Leopoldsburg, Belgium / Leonardo Lyceum Topspot

Re: SEC Women Tennis 2011

Just saw UGA's roster recently. Do they really plan on competing with 6 this season?? Jordan is not exactly the strength they are accustomed to having down low. GA tried to change it up a good bit by letting Polito go but the roster still needs an upgrade espcially since Chelsea is gone now.
