Re: Acc

I saw Ellah and Reka play a couple of years ago when Cecil led the team to the NCAA title, would be interesting to see them again. Never seen Fahoum before.

Re: Acc

Sadly I'll be in Arizona this weekend with my family for Easter. I hope Virginia freaking beats Florida State so we don't have to face them again...it is comforting that we beat UNC and Miami at their home courts. Judging by facebook, the girls are taking this tournament really, really, extremely seriously. They want to win. I think they're pretty pissed that FSU ruined their perfect ACC season. Oh well. I think we have a good chance. I don't think Clayton and Plotkin are both going to lose again in the same match.

I think Maryland may beat Ga Tech. That's the only upset I see. Virginia's playing with a lot of confidence so I'm really hoping they can knock out FSU...but that's the other possible upset, and if FSU keeps rolling, heck they might win the whole dang tournament.

Re: Acc

I wish Liz Plotkin had been named to the All ACC team. If only she hadn't lost 2 of her last 3 matches. I was pleasantly surprised to see Fahoum and Nze included!

I believe it is only the second time we lost the doubles point against ACC competition. We've actually been quite good at doubles this year. Don't know what happened today. At least Liz and Mary both won convincingly.

Re: Acc

Ugh...Florida State won again...which means we face them...again...They have been dominating 3-6 just like Duke. I hope Liz and Mary bring their A games tomorrow. I'm not worried about Rachel and Reka. Katie Rybarkova is good though I think Nadine could beat her if Nadine played her A game. I see no need for Ellah to lose at number 2...but I'm really counting on doubles, and then either Liz or Mary. It will be tight. I hope we can win the rematch.
