Re: Acc

That deciding match of FSU-UVA was just painful to watch. Poor Li Xi got so tight and Sargeant and the other FSU girls were just getting really loud and in her face. She missed some of the most routine shots I saw all weekend.

Really tough break for Kahan. Very good player, hope she can come back from that surgery. That is a long recovery process for baseball players, not sure how it is for tennis players.
Anyone know the full story on Capra?
Sounds like she just rushed to try to finish an assignment and turned in a paper forgetting cite sources, from the statements she made at least. Or is that the full story?

Re: Acc

the German tradition of Miami;

Eichkorn-> Bartenstein-> Wagner.

That's 3 years in a row a German playing #1 and Wagner is just a freshman

Re: Acc

Anyone know if Jeukeng left Clemson? Didn't play at Riviera, isn't on the roster, and is playing a pro tournament this week instead (lost in the first round).

That is strange, although I don't see a roster for 2013-2014. She's so young, feel like at least another year at school would do her well.

Perhaps at 16 she wasn't ready for the rigors of college athletics. It's a tough balancing act for any player, much less one so young. If I had to guess I would think she'll be back at school next year or the year after. If I get to a Clemson match this year I'll try to ask the coach.

Re: Acc

UVA knocks off #1 Duke 5-2 after losing the doubles point. Goldfeld the only winner for Duke in singles.
