Re: Tell us about the big matches coming up

Stanford v. Cal set for Saturday at noon is a big match.
Its a big match because it is a traditional rivalry.
Stanford is ranked #2, and Cal is ranked #6.
Barte vs. Juricova is an excellent match at #1 (ranked #1 and #4)
At #2, Andersson vs Burdette is also a great matchup with exciting past head to head. (Although Ahn and Gibbs are now ranked higher than Burdette, so a different lineup seems possible)
Not much is known about Cal's new #5, and #6, Alice Duranteau from France, and Anett Schutting from Estonia. How will they compare to Stanford's #5 and #6?

UCLA and Baylor Go at It Again, Thursday, March 10th in California. Ranked 9 and 10, Baylor won last month at indoors.

The # 5 ranked Duke Blue Devils vs. #7 ranked University of California, Golden Bears, Friday, March 11, in California.

The No. 4-ranked University of Michigan women's tennis team (10-2) wraps up its three-match road swing with a trip to No. 6-ranked North Carolina (9-3) on Sunday (March 13) at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
