CollegeTennisOnline list of college players in the WTA rankings as of year end 2013: http://www.collegetennisonline.com/t...spx?nwId=48655

I think they are missing quite a few (e.g. Connie Hsu), but it's a good starting point.

Re: Former College players in Pro

Would also be cool to see them make a list of girls currently playing in college who have WTA ranks

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.
Cornet. Ivanovic. Vesnina.. Vaidisova. Krajicek.
Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.
Grammatikopoulou ~ Papamichail ~ Sakkari
I'm obsessed with the Greek players. Deal with it.

I know Lauren Embree is still recovering from her hip surgery, but I can't imagine that she would be parking in the handicapped...

I can't believe Tayler Davis (Cal) is CiCi Bellis' hitting partner/coach. I never thought she was very good.

Was a great recruit and wasn't too bad in college. Was ranked top 40 in singles and I think the same in doubles. Pro was never on her mind, I think just a Cal education which she got. I read somewhere that they're undefeated when she travels with CiCi, so it'll be interesting when that record stops haha

Tennis Tipping
Singles: Won ITF Contrexeville '10, ITF Yakima '12, ITF Medellin '14, ITF Monterrey '14, ITF Asuncion '14, ITF CH-YEC '14
Doubles: Won WTA Bad Gastein '10 (as Q), WTA Quebec City '10 (as Q),Wimbledon '11, ITF Kansas City '11, ITF Nassau '12, ITF Yakima '12, WTA 125 Hua Hin '15

Oh I know she was mildly successful, I just never was impressed by her game. I wouldn't think she would be able to keep up with CiCi if both were going all out.

She must be more of a coach and less of a hitting partner. I know CiCi also hits with one of the guys who plays for Stanford.

Yea, CiCi would kill Tayler. I heard Tayler is more like a baby sitter/older sister. "Hitting partner" is just a more PC term. CiCi works with actually accomplished coaches. Tayler is in charge of driving CiCi places, getting her rackets strung, arranging flight travel and hotels, setting up practice sessions with guys at Stanford, and the occasional drills.

Serena Williams
Victoria Azarenka Venus Williams
Sloane Stephens Christina McHale

Ah ok, that makes much more sense.

Women's Collegiate Invitational draw: http://www.usopen.org/en_US/scores/draws/cw/cwdraw.pdf

Is that draw accurate? How did they come up with it?

Pac-12 vs. UNC and Florida vs. UVA in the first round. Way to go USTA. Loeb and Brady should be the top seeds based on their summer performances.
